Not a copyvio[edit]

This message was placed on my talk page:

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Flag Admiral (Star Trek), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.startsurfing.com/encyclopedia/f/l/a/Flag_Admiral_e30a.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:03, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was the original creator of this article years ago when it was simply part of Flag Admiral. It's no doubt been copied and pasted since then on several websites. I did not steal the text from anywhere else and this is not a copyright violation. With that said, if there are no obujections, I will remove the bot notice. -OberRanks (talk) 21:06, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
On that same point, this isnt much of an article. It should be expanded or deleted. I leave that to others for now. -OberRanks (talk) 21:07, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
