In the cartulary of San Pelayo de Oviedo (El monasterio de San Pelayo de Oviedo, Historia y Fuentes, Vol. I, Colección diplomática (996-1325)) published in 1978, the witnesses appearing on 17 April 1097 are:
"In presentia Veremudo Gutierrizi cf; Gutier Ioannes cf; Garcia Suarizi cf; Ecta Vita Suarizi, cf. Ecta Vita Pelagizi cf; Garcia Fernandizi cf.; Petro Garciazi cf; (2nd column) Qui testes fuerunt: Ionannis Alvarizi ts; Cipriano Ectaz ts; Martino Ectazi ts: Froila notuit.
