After a quick read, this article clearly isn't ready for a GA nominee. Several paragraphs are completely uncited, the Legacy section has all but one of its paragraphs that lack citations and that section requested for more citations for verification. And there are several Harvard reference links that appear on the bottom of the page (if you want a link to see them, let me know). Although it isn't against the rules for a user who hasn't contributed significantly to these articles or even at all to nominate (I've done the same a few times during my first months editing), the article can't have significant barriers that prevent it to be a decent nominee. I personally suggest it isn't not a good idea to do so. I'll add links where citations are needed. I also think that the article can be expanded some more before this article is re-nominated.
