Promotional

It's nice that WP gives fearnet free advertising. This article needs to go. Mjpresson (talk) 05:03, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

I agree

This amounts to nothing more than advertising. --Broncoman (talk) 21:59, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Spelling of the name

The name should be spelled as "FEARnet", not as "Fearnet" because it's not supposed to be spelled as or meant to be as an acronym and it's the way it's spelled according to the About section at Sony Pictures Television's site. http://www.sonypicturestelevision.com/b2bApp/appmanager/b2b/spt King Shadeed 22:17, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Writing it that way violates point 3 of WP:MOSTM: Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules, even if the trademark owner considers nonstandard formatting "official":

avoid: REALTOR®, TIME, KISS instead, use: Realtor, Time, Kiss

So in other words, that like saying the article name "SOAPNet" should be spelled as "Soapnet" cause it was spelled as "SoapNet" a long time ago, right? King Shadeed 0:57, May 4, 2011 (UTC)
It should be written Soapnet since "Soap" isn't an acronym or abbreviation. TomCat4680 (talk) 07:31, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Number of registered users

This client had asked me to update the number of registered users on their site last month, but lacked documentation. They have now given me a URL to a press release that references this information. Because I know that editing pages for compensation is frowned upon, and also because I'm not sure if a press release from the company itself is considered sufficient documentation, I'm posting the link here so that wiser heads can prevail. Thanks! http://www.fearnet.com/blogs/press/b25242_fearnet_celebrates_dark_side_of.html Alexwillis (talk) 01:18, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

And they just told me they'd like to add 10:30PM ET as the premier time for Holliston--I said I'd try, but even that seems to me to be a little to close to advertising.Alexwillis (talk) 01:23, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Percentage ownership

I found out from Standard & Poors reading the LGF Company overview, that LGF owns a 34.5% stake in FEARnet, not 33%. There's gotta be more evidence around for the ownership stakes from Comcast and SPE until it totals up to 100%. Lions Gate Entertainment Company Overview King Shadeed 02:40, February 6, 2013 (UTC)
