Split of Orconectes[edit]

A substantial number of species articles need moving to take into account the splitting off of Faxonius from Orconectes. Circular redirects[edit]

Some of the blue links in the table to the species just redirect right back to the page. This is pointless. I noticed that some of these stubs were converted to redirects at some point. I don't see the usefulness of having blue links circle right back. Better if they're all red. As Wikipedia progresses, individual articles can be written for each one. Having redirects makes this difficult. Readers likely end up in circles

Is it better to have a stub for each species, or a circular redirect ? Big Blue Cray(fish) Twins (talk) 07:12, 14 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
