Test use of LOCAL1 infobox[edit]

Test seems to be working. Discuss the infobox at Template talk:Infobox local1 and/or at WT:NRHP. doncram (talk) 16:06, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Use of photo gallery[edit]

The infobox now overlaps over the photo gallery. This would happen with regular NRHP infobox. In my view, the problem is the use of the photo gallery. Photo galleries are discouraged in wikipedia style guidelines now. It is preferred to create a gallery at Commons and provide a link to that. And/or, to work the photos into the article. doncram (talk) 16:06, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Carpenter gothic?[edit]

Is this church carpenter gothic? doncram (talk) 16:12, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not an expert but I think that's the correct classification. It's a small wooden American church designed in the Gothic style. It fits the style description and the time period. While it lacks the fanciful detail of many Carpenter Gothic structures, compare it with the classic carpenter gothic features in the classic Carpenter Gothic structure in American Gothic. Also, many of the churches classified as Carpenter Gothic lack the fanciful detailing but appear to share fundamental Gothic design features of this church. See other churches in the Category:Carpenter Gothic churches, including Bethany Memorial Chapel (Kendrick, Idaho), Grace Episcopal Church (Georgetown, Colorado), Pioneer Gothic Church, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (Prairieville, Alabama), St. Luke's Episcopal Church (Cahaba, Alabama). I may be incorrect on this, but that appeared to be the right classification to me. Cbl62 (talk)`
