Hey there! I'm in your film class and I assigned myself your page! First of all, AWESOME CHOICE!! Canadian and a pioneer! That's pretty neat. I feel like this is a great first draft, but it could use some subtle changes to make it a little more legit. Firstly, there are a few instances where you need to cite your information (like in the intro where you talk about what this filmmaker is "best known for", tell us where it says that or who thinks that? Did you just know that? If so, never mind) Also in that partial filmography, link any work you can to other Wikipedia pages! Its helpful for the reader. It will also be cool at the end for you to put your filmmaker into the wikipedia pages of work they have been on so that they can be found by other people more easily. Finally, you have a few references in the reference list that are the same thing just put differently. Put them all in the same source. It is unnecessary to have so many of the same thing. If you used multiple sections of the source (like multiple selections of pages) then put the complete list of sections in the one source.

Hello! I am also from your film class and wanted to share how well I think you've done. You have tons of great information posted on your filmmaker that makes it easy to understand who they are and why they are important. Since Wikipedia sees this as something very important I think this is important to stress. I wanted to touch on what RayneEmily touched on concerning references. If you have any to add I would totally do it ASAP to make sure nothing gets taken down. Like RayneEmily said you may also want to consider wanting to condense certain sources you used more than once. Just clicking the "Re-Use" button should allow you do this easily. I also wanted to add that there were a few instances of sentence fragments to just be careful of those. I have some in my draft as well unfortunately. However, the more fluid the reading experience the better, since people are usually on Wikipedia to grab a quick piece of info. In terms of additional content, perhaps you could include a list of achievements of awards/nominations that Evelyn Spice Cherry may have earned if possible. Not sure if any info is out there, but just a recommendation. Overall, I think you have lots of content to work with and present it nicely. Best of luck! — Preceding unsigned comment added by HeneryDave31 (talkcontribs) 04:01, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
