supported languages?[edit]

Could there be a list of languages that are actually supported by this layout? At the very least this clearly has very poor support for any slavic speaking EU countries using a latin alphabet, so I can't easily understand precisely in which countries is this so called 'european' layout actually usable, and in which it would not be of any use. 141.138.37.153 (talk) 23:58, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it looks like 'european' means spanish + german for the proponents.

I do think a universal latin keyboard is needed, but the issue is more around where to put the symbols. Diacritics would have to be via modifier/silent keys if any universality is to be achieved.

Using the US-like enter key is also a no-go. We have few keys as it is.

What makes Colemak 'obviously superior' than QWERTZ in any Germanic languages?[edit]

English and other Germanic languages using different orthography system. While Z is the least-used letter in English, but it's 15-time common in German. In Colemak, Z is located at the corner of the whole keyboard, it makes typing Z more harder.
