LOPER[edit]

What is a LOPER? Does this activity have a wikipedia article and if so, could someone link it? LJade728 20:04, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe he was also once an uncredited ferengi trader in an episode of Star Trek the Next Generation. Can anyone confirm this?

I think that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A9nage_%C3%A0_Troi_%28TNG_episode%29 under trivia confirms what instance you are thinking of.

Is it worth mentioning the notable characteristic that Ethan had roles in major Star Trek and Star Wars titles albeit not the movies?

Expand[edit]

Does anyone have more information that we can expand this article, it is merely a small paragraph and then a list of his credits. 74.204.40.46 13:07, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Was working on this and at post time it looked like someone else might have been editing the page as well. I just 'backed' out, saved the text and reposted. I think it was just someone cleaning up syntax and sentence structure of what I was posting (and I do appreciate that). If I inadvertently changed something someone else was adding --- my apologies. I'll do what I can in a text editor for now and stop back another day to see if there is any more I can contribute. Ched Davis (talk) 00:43, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK .. all done (sort of). Read and wrote for hours to get this out of stub class. I'm not sure how you folks want things formatted and all - what should be in double quotes, what film titles should be (italics, quotes, double-quotes etc.) but it is a start. I also don't have the citation and bib. skill set assimilated yet. Here are the www resources I used though:

along with the IMDB and currently listed links. I could have done it with less work by just cut and paste, but I was taught to read and put things in my own words. Hopefully I'll check back here in a few days and a few other folks will have picked up the ball and cleaned, sorted, and formatted this into something the wiki editors will approve of. I am trying to get this regular series actor out of the stub-class, and hope I've moved things along in the right direction. Short of fixing some typos, expanding on a thing or two, and responding to some Reference Desk questions this is my first effort at actually being an editor. If it was a waste of my time, let me know (nicely please) and I'll go back to reading and typos. If nothing gets changed shortly I will look into the "how to cite" and use a bibliography thing and take a stab at that. Given the time of year, it may take a few days or so though. Well, I'm a little burned out on this guy - as well as a little bleary eyed, so I'll leave you with this: Happy Holidays to all (in whatever manner you celebrate) Ched Davis (talk) 06:01, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

removed the stub tags:

and added the expand tag. Ched Davis (talk) 06:15, 19 December 2008 (UTC) Don't know how to do that stub template thing listed at top of page yet - I'll read up on that at a later time. Ched Davis (talk) 06:18, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

what is needed now to get this out of stub-class? Ched Davis (talk) 04:22, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Voyager starting year[edit]

I noticed someone changed the years which Phillips played Neelix on Voyager. It looks like while he started working on the part on late 1994 (as listed in the table) - the actual air date for Caretaker (the first episode) was in January of 1995. Not sure it makes much difference to me personally, but just a note for the fans out there. If I'm wrong on this, I'm sure someone will correct it. Happy Holidays to all .. Filmography section needs some additions[edit]

I thought I spotted him in an episode of Numb3rs, which isn’t listed here. Confirmed with TV.com that he did indeed play a character in an episode of Numb3rs. There’s probably more to be found. — NRen2k5(TALK), 07:53, 27 May 2009 (UTC) there is missing information on a caste episode as well. the internet movie database should have all of the missing information.84.213.45.196 (talk) 23:07, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of content, Mr. Phillips instructions[edit]

Recent edits have removed content with the reason "per Mr. Phillips instructions". This is not a valid reason. Mr. Phillips is not in charge of the article, even if it is about him, please see WP:OWNERSHIP. Furthermore, all of the information added has no sourcing whatsoever, and appears to be a "copy-and edit" from another source, which would constitute plaigirism. The new information needs to be properly sourced, or can be challenged and removed. Anyone is welcome to edit the article and a flimography chart is widely used in several actors, and makes the filmography section cleaner and clears clutter from the article space. Please do not remove content from the article with the explanation "per Mr. Phillips instructions", this is not permitted. Ejfetters (talk) 07:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you to Mr. Phillips[edit]

You were hilarious in Benson, but I especially see your expertise as an actor in Voyager. You were a funny guy who loved to cook (I can relate because I love to cook & I'm pretty good at so says my family & friends). You also showed yourself as a SERIOUS/emotional actor in your role in Voyager. You brought me to tears 😢 you are great! 2601:249:D02:50B0:E0BD:5850:5EBA:4EB6 (talk) 04:09, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
