Molecule[edit]

The molecule shown and named in the infobox is the 17-beta acetate ester (IUPAC (17β)-3-hydroxyestra-1,3,5(10)-trien-17-yl acetate), whereas "estradiol acetate" (INN, USAN) refers to the 3-O ester (IUPAC (17β)-Hydroxyestra-1,3,5(10)-trien-3-yl acetate).

Femring and femtrace (named in the article) are documented to use Estradiol acetate (USAN) with UNII number : 5R97F5H93P (see here for example, section Ingredient and appearance) which give us through the FDA website the InChIKey FHXBMXJMKMWVRG-SLHNCBLASA-N which is the 3-O ester as shown here.

I do not know how to create molecule scheme up to WP standard so i'll just remove it from the info box. I'll also change the IUPAC name, CAS number, ... If anybody could provide a new image, it would be wonderful. - ElianeCBriand (talk) 10:29, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
