Hi, I see that this page needs some editing and beefing up. I'd like to add in additional information about essential fish habitat. I think I could add more to the introduction to explain EFH, the purpose of EFH, more about the Magnuson Act, the actions that fishery management council can take to protect essential fish habitat, and information about federal consultations for EFH. I also know that people confuse EFH with critical habitat and MPAs. I hope I can contribute to this article by removing those misconceptions. Lastly, I'd like to add in information about artificial structures and how councils view them as EFH. If anyone else sees this, please provide additional comments on how to improve the page and I can add those sections as well. Thanks for the help!
