Power shortage: 2007-2015 new section proposal

If no one objects I am going to spin off the section on "Power shortage: 2007-2015" to its own article and link it to the Eskom article so as to keep original article focused on the company and not the 2007-15 national power shortage. The national power shortage needs an article of its own anyway. It is also sufficiently long as a section to warrant its own article anyway.--Discott (talk) 11:00, 1 January 2019 (UTC)

Copyright issues

An edit recently introduced copyright-violating text to the "Power shortage: 2007 - ongoing" section. I removed the unauthorized text, and hid the revisions containing it. But The section may well need editing to create a coherent account of these events without copying directly from the source or any outside site. Thanks DESiegel, a quick FYI headsup on what I assume was related to that content, I am going to move the whole Load Sheadding section to the South African energy crisis page as that is a better place for that content to live then on the Eskom page.--Discott (talk) 08:11, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know, Discott. I assume in the process you will fill in any needed info from the sources. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 14:08, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
I have moved it and added two references to better source the information. Please let me know what you think on that article page and make any changes you feel would improve it as I am sure I might have missed some things.--Discott (talk) 14:19, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
