Images[edit]

Since it's been more than 70 years since Procter died, may I pull down images of his works?

Does it matter what the source of the pictures is?

Thanks!--CaroleHenson (talk) 13:57, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Influential artists' works"[edit]

I must say that I'm mystified by the section titled "Influential artists' works", with four paintings by other artists depicted. I've never seen such a thing done on an article before, and it seems to me to be both rather unfair to the artist to claim that those four paintings influenced his work to such a degree that they need to be shown, and it seems to give undue weight (considering that only four of Procter's works are depicted). Unless Procter explicitly and publicly stated that those four pieces were somehow seminal to his development as an artist, I think they should be removed. Agree wholeheartedly. Someone skimming the page would assume that these were the work of the artist himself. Valetude (talk) 08:34, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
