Okay...[edit]

Is this article really needed? I mean, it only has one small paragraph of information on what an Equity Crotch is, I could see if the article also contained information on the history of Equity Cards and being a little more descriptive on what it is, perhaps a picture of one, and how often it's used today, etc.

Then again, I think that this article was only created to relate to the Another Brick in the Wall article, how the children in the "Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2" recording don't appear in the music video because they didn't have Equity Cards. Plus, the only reference on the article is to a BBC page, like the Another Brick in the Wall references on the same subject (albeit, not the same BBC website page).

Anyways, I personally think that this article should be closed due to its lack of information and single reference to Pink Floyd. Unless someone would like to improve this article by adding enough information to make it useful, please do. But if not, I see no point in keeping this article alive.

Re-Write[edit]

As had been brought up here at an earlier date, this article, as it was, was not suitable for Wikipedia. However, I do feel that there is potential for an informative article here. Particularly among actors, theatre students, and curious audience members, this topic is frequently a point of confusion for those without the card. The process for acquiring the card is far from being simple and black and white, and the benefits, and history of the card and membership of Equity is quite extensive. I am going to continue to expand this article to the best of my ability and hop I can get some help from some other interested editors. The article may particularly benefit from an image of an Equity card. -Aaron Booth (talk) 00:08, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
