Checklist[edit]

Rate Attribute Review Comment
1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct.
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.
2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose).
2c. it contains no original research.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic.
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. Within definition
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content. See note
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions. Fine
7. Overall assessment. Pending

  • You've got series co-creator followed by co-series creator. Which one is correct?
  • "visits the residence of Harold Smith to find Smith has committed suicide." - What do you think of "visits the residence of Harold Smith to find he has committed suicide."
  • "a casino and brother he owns"... just pointing it out.
    Fixed. GRAPPLE X 17:06, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's called "Episode 7" but links to ep8?
    • It is suppose to be like that, as it would still link to Episode 7. It does that because "Episode 1" is counted as ep0. TBrandley 16:55, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • "Pilot" is followed by "Episode 1", throwing the name and numbers off; "ep8" is the table anchor for Episode 7 as it's the eighth entry. Trust me, if that was the weirdest thing about Twin Peaks it'd probably still be running. GRAPPLE X 17:06, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "character was left somewhat redeemed." - In this episode? How?
I've edited that a little to reflect that it's his words; though I assume he means to say that Leland wasn't really the killer, BOB was. GRAPPLE X 17:06, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Quote from Phipps could be shorter
    Trimmed those down quite a bit. GRAPPLE X 17:15, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Fix the CN tags (mostly direct quotes)
Some of these direct quotes in the plot summary are from the episode itself; I've paraphrased some but left one or two shorter ones alone as there's no point citing the article's subject in an article about itself. GRAPPLE X 17:06, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Question: What's the relevance of Pete Martell and Mr. Tojamura? This is nowhere in our plot summary.

  • Source spotcheck tomorrow. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:08, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you need any of the Highbeam sources, email me; I'm afraid I can't do anything about the USA Today ones though as I already needed an another editor to look them up for me, but I'm sure I could get them passed on if you need them. GRAPPLE X 17:16, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
*Shakes head* Grapple, Grapple, Grapple... I have Highbeam privileges too. That's how I could check Mondo Cane. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:22, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
"Grapple, Grapple, Grapple" is my favourite bedroom technique. GRAPPLE X 23:24, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    That could hurt. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:39, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    Quite a bit. GRAPPLE X 23:41, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    Ten times as much, indeed. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:54, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Tell me about it. Just ask my brother Malcolm. GRAPPLE X 00:00, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
On a serious note, everything seems fine but I'd still like to check the AV club references. Could you send them to me? For some reason I can't open them. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:06, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The A.V. Club ones? Ray Wise interview and episode review. GRAPPLE X 00:10, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) (talk page stalker) That's weird. The links works fine on my browser (Firefox). Huh. TBrandley 00:12, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm getting "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.". Have been since I first tried opening the links. I have a question for you up there too. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:16, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Fair do (loading for me though). I'll copy-paste them in an email for you. As for the question, as wonderful as Jack Nance is, the Mr Tojamura plot arc is one of those minor soap-opera threads they introduced that doesn't amount to much, but just padded for time between this ep and the freakout ending. Indonesian internet, what can I say? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:28, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
