Notability[edit]

I am sort of a picky person about notability for Wikipedia articles, but I believe this school is notable. So I don't really know on what basis the {{notable}} tag was placed on the page. Would you care to explain, and maybe I could address your worries? It has proven difficult to find third party sources for things about the school, but I'll continue my search. You're right that we do have a pretty strong presumption of notability with institutions of higher education. What is worrisome is the lack of useful information about the college from impartial outside parties. Doesn't it ever get covered in local and regional news? Still, you're clearly working on it; good luck! --Orange Mike | Talk 14:07, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A search on Google News shows that most of the local news coverage was from 2004 and older news sources. Unfortunately one must pay to view these archived news reports from the Sac Bee and other online newspaper versions. Killiondude (talk) 00:58, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
