Duplicate article[edit]
A newly-created article called Corsair War (1620-1621) appears to be a duplicate of this article's topic. The creator, Berber.Enjoyer2, has linked these two articles together in their infoboxes ([1], [2]), supposedly making this article a subtopic of the new article, but I can hardly discern any difference in scope between the two. I see no evidence of a wider "war" beyond the events immediately relating to this expedition.
Before I redirect it here, perhaps other knowledgeable editors can confirm whether there's anything that would make it worth keeping as a separate article? (Tentatively pinging @Nourerrahmane, @Pickersgill-Cunliffe, @M.Bitton, who have made recent major edits here or patrol related topics.) Thanks, R Prazeres (talk) 21:15, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hi,yes because it's 2 different article ? i just didn't add the batte with Spain... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Berber.Enjoyer2 (talk • contribs) 05:45, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- I think this expedition is the single main event of this "war", there was the famous Baltimore raid 11 years later by Murad Rais, but a peace treaty was signed before that in 1625 if i remember right. Nourerrahmane (talk) 16:54, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
- Merge. This spam-like duplication of material on Moroccan history is getting very annoying... Srnec (talk) 20:18, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
