Lobo CANT or lobo WOULDN'T?[edit]

What I got from 52 was that Lobo could use the Eye, but didn't for risk of alerting the Emerald Head. Webrunner 17:25, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A Green Lantern?[edit]

Shouldn't Emerald Empress be included on the list of Green Lanterns? I ask because Ekron, the source of the Emerald Eye of Ekron is supposedly a Green Lantern gone AWOL. So, by relation, his eye has the same powers as a GL ring. And if Jade, Alan Scott's daughter is on the list and only has powers similar to a GL's, then shouldn't the Empress be on there as well?

Jade is a Green Lantern by way of actually wearing a ring and a uniform, not because of her natural powers. Jennie filled in for Kyle during the time he spent away from Earth, circa GL v.2 #107-112, at a time when her own powers were gone. Kyle basically deputised her, and a made a ring for her to use.

Ekron apparently was a GL, who had fallen from grace. The Empress can't claim to actually have been a member of the Corps. Dstumme 20:54, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Starfire and emerald eye.gif[edit]

Image:Starfire and emerald eye.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. The Eye[edit]

Isn't the Emerald Eye of Ekron important enough to have its own article?

Not really. It almost never appears without being associated with the Empress, except for one story in L.E.G.I.O.N. way back and that nonsense in 52, if I recall correctly. Nutiketaiel (talk) 13:15, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
