Elizabeth, Lady Blount[edit]

As the wife of a baronet, and not the daughter of an Earl, Marquis or Duke, her name was not "Lady Elizabeth Blount", but "Elizabeth, Lady Blount": see the advice of the Standing Council of the Baronetage. Mind you, those still observing this crucial distinction are probably fewer in number than the modern Flat-Earthers to whom Lady Blount devoted her energies. 45ossington (talk) 09:44, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
