Founder[edit]

I am the founder of Electric Frankenstein, I am making corrections to the information that is WRONG that other people posted without my knowledge. Also, as fans have asked me to, I am organizing the discography better, it is currently incorrect and missing many new entries to make it up to date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Salef (talkcontribs) 15:38, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The guideline at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Musicians/Article_guidelines#Discography_section says only "major works" should be listed in the discography. Compilations are not major works, nor are singles that didn't chart or otherwise attract notice in the media. Binksternet (talk) 06:08, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, Wikipedia is not here to serve as your publishing platform, to disseminate new information. Rather, Wikipedia's goal is to summarize the important points about the band that have been published in WP:Reliable sources. If nobody has published that the band changed drummers (for instance), then the change isn't important enough to mention. Binksternet (talk) 06:11, 9 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
ok, so now random people have changed our bio with totally incorrect information, and I am not allowed to fix it.
That's ridiculous. The information is totally wrong. 98.122.140.180 (talk) 05:41, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that Wikipedia is supposed to be based on a summary of published sources suggests a solution to your problem: Get the media to write about your band's recent changes, and update the reporter on the parts you think are mistaken. Binksternet (talk) 09:13, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
