Edwardsiella (bacteria) → Edwardsiella (bacterium) – bacteria is plural and hence – unsystematic naming. Must be in singular Estopedist1 (talk) 17:13, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose, as specifically addressed by WP:PLURAL: "With irregular plurals whose usage far exceeds the usage of the singular, the common and unastonishing plural titles Bacteria, Algae, and Data are preferred over Bacterium, Alga, and Datum". Adumbrativus (talk) 03:15, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
