Article needs a discussion of languages of instruction. The system functions mainly in the official language, French, but there have been "pilot" programs using national languages for many years, and evidently some recent MTB-MLE programs.--A12n (talk) 03:05, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Education in Niger

Hey there! I love the topic of your article and I find the structure of the school system interesting. Your article begins by immediately associating the Education in Niger with poverty rates and low literacy rates. If I were to randomly go to your article and I read that, I would personally assume that I would expect to learn about the difficulty of education in Niger, however that seems to not be the case. So in that CASE (haha sorry I had to) I would recommend you move these points into a subcategory They are interesting topics and I would love to learn more about them, but I feel like your introduction paragraph should really focus on a good preview or an 'abstract'of Niger education as a whole.

I am not sure if you have seen the message on top of your article, but there is an existing article already about Education in Niger in French, which seems to have a good structure by itself already! It has a subsection entitled 'dysfonctionnements' talks about the difficulties you were mentioning.

Organization of formal education

Any specific reason why you gave the French translations? It would help to have an explanation of the bilingualism aspect earlier in the section. The university technical diploma link in French needs to be fixed. And just a minor thing, for the sentence that starts with "Entrance to primary school..." you should write your numbers in a consistent fashion (1,2,3 OR one two three). You can also elaborate more in general on the school system. Is this true in all parts of Niger?

Overall, your article has a pretty good start! Just need to refine some things, fix some of your links and elaborate on some points. Great work and let me know if you need anything!

Sections added on bilingual education and gender inequality
