Expert tag[edit]
I think there may be some confusion in this article: Sir Edmund Bedingfield is the name of two people, father and son. Sir Edmund Bedingfield (b. ABT 1534 - d. 24 Aug 1585) is the son of Edmund Bedingfield who served in the war of roses. I think the article may contain information about both, since the younger Edmund was father of Henry. I'm not sure how the dates on this site jive with the dates on the page.
I am thinking "French Wars" refers to the War of Roses, although the timing is off and I don't know why it would be called the French War.

Spelling[edit]
Isn't the correct spelling of the Bedingfeld family of Oxburgh Hall "Bedingfeld" not "Bedingfield"? Certainly that is the spelling in Burke's Peerage etc and the one used by the present Henry Bedingfeld of Oxburgh. "feld" is a characteristic regional surname ending, e.g.. "Blofeld", although elsewhere "field" is so much more common that it is often misread and therefore misspelt. The New Zealand born pop singer Daniel Bedingfield, of course, uses the "i".
