Somewhere in there should be a mention of the humongous "Second Place Heisman Trophy" bought for him by Auburn students as a joke when they perceived him as "whining" about being runner-up to their Pat Sullivan. It was massive, a floor-to-ceiling monstrosity far more imposing than the actual Heisman.
