Here are my issues:

American Association links to a dab page currently.
The first section can just say early life, since early career would be implied there.
"Nebraska for six years, before" rm comma

"With the Tigers, Barrow feuded with Kid Elberfeld." I'd add shortstop ahead of Kid so we know it's a player; i would've guessed front office before clicking the link.
"Barrow was named Executive of the Year by The Sporting News in 1941, the second time he won the award." when was the first?
