Just curious: in the early 90's, I used to work with a product called POLYCENTER NetWorker from DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation). Are these products related?

Yes, in a previous life I was a developer of this product, and we did license it to several other vendors including DEC, SGI, and several others. Of course reliable third-party references would be nice, instead of personal anecdotes.
