Problems[edit]

This article is a mess. First of all, there is a sentence saying that the name given at the beginning of the article is not his real name, but the name of the character on Deadwood based on the real Farnum. The statement is somewhat ambiguous. Which is the correct name? That should be the one at the beginning of the article.

Second, someone has tacked on some census data that appears cut-and-pasted from another source. Anyone care to extract what useful information is there, or should it just be deleted? emw 05:36, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disappeared[edit]

There's no record of Farnum after the late 1870s. Therefore I removed him from the category "year of death missing", because it isn't "missing", it isn't known. Placed him instead in the category "disappeared persons". Vidor (talk) 07:09, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
