Canal network[edit]

Can someone please add information about the network of canals that covers the eastern end of E.A. Vaughn WIldlife Management Area? Who dug these canals? For what purpose? When? John Jensen believes that they may have been created by Native Americans, and they may even be pre-Columbian.
