Comment[edit]

Section "# 1.3.2 Ch. 7: Demystifying al-Qaeda" contains a sentence fragment, and the graph needs to be repaired. I haven't read the book, so can't really go to intent. ----shmooth- 07:51, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An Advertisement[edit]

This site will lose it's usefullness if it keeps simple advertisements for the author's books. Everything shown here is to promote the sale of Dying to Win. There are good articles on the thesis at http://www.washingtoninstitute.org/templateC05.php?CID=2401 and http://www.washingtoninstitute.org/templateC07.php?CID=265

Mark- Ignore him. Almost every recent political book entry in Wikipedia is an ad. I doubt he'd be complaining if he agreed with the book.

I think the article is informative and I wouldn't shorten it; on the contrary, I usually find Wikipedia articles on similar types of books lacking in content.--Gloriamarie 21:13, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:Death Assessment commentary[edit]

The synopsis in the article is adequate, but the article will be Start-class until at least two more criteria are met:

Supporting Materials - an infobox and/or a photo of the book.
Coverage - A section on book reviews or other critics' comments, or mention of the books impact on policy or our understanding of the subject. (with appropriate references, of course)

315 attacks not campaign[edit]

As of July 4, 2013, the second sentence read, "The book's conclusions are based on data from 315 suicide terrorism campaigns around the world from 1980 through 2003 and 462 individual suicide terrorists."
