Gallery[edit]

Please remove the gallery and use 1 or 2 of the photos which highlight specific features within the text.. Dmanning 04:57, 19 April 2007 (UTC) I have removed most of the pictures in the gallery. I just wanted to know if Wikipedia discourages the display of rare pictures in the gallery. I had spent a lot of time scanning and uploading the pictures. Many users upload legal pictures into galleries to give the readers an idea or picture of the whole organisation. Thank you very much for your encouragement Kumarrajendran 08:21, 25 April 2007 (UTC) As long as you hold the copyright (you took the picture), it has been released for free use (copyleft or GNU) or the copyright has expired then you are free to do what you like with the picture. If you want to use more go ahead; Im not commanding anyone, its a personal gripe to see large galleries (as opposed to scattered through an article) as IMHO I think it makes the page look cluttered. If you have a flickr account or webspace you could probably host them and provide a link. Looks better now I think, cheers Dmanning 08:38, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mjc11.jpg[edit]

Image:Mjc11.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:14, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
