The 1980s and Beyond[edit]

What is the deal with that long paragraph about "mathematics"? Very strange. It's in the fourth paragraph in the "1980s and Beyond" section of the Donna Fargo article. It's also in the section entitled "The Height of Her Career", in the second paragraph. I don't know where these came from. I tried to edit them out, but it isn't visible in the "editing" section. Very strange. I have no idea where it came from, and I don't have a clue as to what it has to do with Donna Fargo. If anyone has a clue on this, would you please write here, or else write to me, directly? Thank you. Slater79 23:41, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know first hand that Donna (Yvonne) graduated high school the same year my mother did. My mother was born in 1939, something does not look right with Donna's year of birth. This is not the first place I have seen her age inaccurately reported, so maybe her publicist fibs on it a little bit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.60.254.12 (talk) 18:39, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Too bad she or he hasn't been able to source such a comment without the probability of violating WP:OR. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 23:51, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Adonnafargo.jpg[edit]

Image:Adonnafargo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Can we agree to archive the above talk?[edit]

Given that no one has had even the inclination to comment here since 2007 (excluding bots) would someone be willing to archive all previous talk here? --Leahtwosaints (talk) 23:51, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'll make a comment. The article says that Kitty Wells was the first female country performer to have her own show. This is not true - Wanda Jackson headlined her own syndicated TV show in 1966. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.119.232.237 (talk) 07:44, 10 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
