Dinamalar overtakes Dinathanthi[edit]

How did dinamalar.com attract 202,000 visitors[1] when dailythanthi.com (the market leader offline) could manage only 21,000 visitors[2] in 2008?Anwar (talk) 11:58, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The user base of Dinamalar and Dinathanthi is vastly different. A tamilian looking for a Tamil Newspaper online would gravitate to Dinamalar rather than thanthi. It is like comparing the WSJ 8 million online vs 2 million physical and TOI 800 thousand online vs 4 million physical. Unsourced editorializing in article[edit]

@Wasifwasif:, the source you've got this time is pretty good, but it doesn't state anything about the motives for their publication of the cartoons. Please demonstrate some reliable sources that claim Dinmalar unequivocally published cartoons of Muhammad for reasons of provocation. Furthermore, please read WP:SAWW.
