November 2009[edit]

This page has been re-instated, after deletion. Yes it needs more work, but I feel it is better to have this page in the Encyclopedia and try to expand/improve it than not have the information recorded at all. I'm looking a Wikipedia slogan right now that reads "Our shared knowledge. Our shared treasure. Help us protect it", that's the spirit which led me to create it. If you can add anything to this page, please do so, but lets not be too over-zealous deleting these embryo pages. If we can get the right person to look at this and improve it, it could be a really great page...Hethurs (talk) 21:29, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

I refer to the following sentence in the notability guidelines; "it is important to consider not only whether notability is established by the article, but whether it readily could be." In my opinion it could be, if people put more effort into helping to develop it rather than trying to find a reason to delete it...!

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because...

OK, I agree the page would benefit from expansion, but this company was actually a global player in its day.

If Wikipedia is serious about being an online encyclopedia, it really should include a page for this company. If that means we have to run with the limited information that is available, so be it. Limited information is better than no information for anybody researching this company.

To help make the page complete, we need other Wikipedians to contribute to it.

It would be more sensible to encourage others to look at it and help rather than flag this page for speedy deletion.
