This format you are introducing is not good as a whole for Wikipedia. Wikipedia reaches out to everyone not just Americans, this provides an incomplete list. I'll put in citations just for the sake of it. Don't hink what your doing is right! It's not like the FA's Jake Gyllenhaal and Angelina Jolie have citations to all their films. date of birth

There is an IP which is constantly changes the date of birth to various other dates all differing from the cited source (imdb). I'm not quite sure whether this is intended vandalism or just an inexperienced user trying to correct a mistake of the imdb. If somebody else has an independent source it would be nice if he were to include it as a reference in the article. However if those unsourced IP Edits continue I might consider to request a semi protection for the page.--Kmhkmh (talk) 15:31, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Correction Required

Why this Kolaveri

I don't know why one editor is prone on removing the category of singer that i add to Dhanush filmography.When he has sung that song,why don,t he allow this to apear on Dhanush page.I have provided three reference and instead of this he removed that category. Generally we don't include "Discographies" for actors. Dhanush has sung only a few songs till date. Further, some films get dubbed into other languages, mostly into Telugu. So the Telugu version will have different singers which might create a little bit of confusion. --Commander (Ping me) 14:32, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

But we have category of Playback singer on Amitabh Bacchan wiki page.He is also an actor and none of his song have become a rage as kolavari has become.There is no harm in adding that category.115.248.130.148 (talk) 15:20, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

One line in the article says "Though Dhanush has sung just few songs all his songs were a super hit and turned out to be chartbusters. This is mainly due to Dhanush's tamil accent that is loved by locals". section title descriptors

Section title descriptors must follow WP:OR , WP:NPOV and WP:UNDUE. Controversy section

In this edit I removed the controversy section submitted in good faith by Universalrahu. Firstly, Verifiability doesn't guarantee inclusion and this current event is potentially disparaging to the subject for no real reason. Public figures get accused of all sorts of stuff. We need to consider the long-term value of information that we add to the article, not just get caught up in recentism. Wikipedia is not a breaking news site or a gossip site. Also, controversy sections in general tend to be discouraged as they place undue emphasis on typically negative events. There's nothing in the Manual of Style for biographies that mandates or encourages these sections. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:08, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
