Unreliable sources[edit]

The references of some facts mentioned are blogspot articles, or a link to an article in the web page of a company selling cosmetic products promoting a shampoo — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.146.245.89 (talk) 18:49, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Hi, what's this "trevor is going get them too?" thing? I don't know which version to replace it with so I just removed that line but I don't if there's more vandalism

Duplicate[edit]

This appears to be a duplicate of Demodex mite

Article merge with Demodex mite[edit]

This article is a stub, and there is another article about the Demodex Mite that is fleshed out. I suggest we just do a redirect to Demodex miteBscottbrown 16:23, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article sounds retarded now, with it telling you to spray your clothes with deet and do your laundry with tea oil in order to get rid of (mostly) harmless face parasites. Either remove the stuff that applies to Demodex genus rather than folliculorum or just do a redirect. 76.251.184.30 (talk) 19:53, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, which is it?[edit]

"25% of the people who are up to 20 years old have mites, and 30% of people up to the age of 50 have mites. Of people that are between 80 and 100 years old, between 50% and 100% have mites.[7] Hair follicles in all adults are infested, but the distribution of mites varies, which has a different impact on each person."

Which is it, all adults are infested, or various percentages of various age groups of adults are infested? M-1 (talk) 09:09, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest moving History section to Demodex[edit]

Almost the entirety of the History section of this article refers to the discovery of Demodex entirely, and certainly has relevance to that article, which currently does not have a History section. Arcticotter (talk) 22:33, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
