Birthplace[edit]

Does anyone have a source which can confirm where Nell Newton was born? The Genii "MagicPedia" says she was born in Kansas but her IMDB biography has her down as born in Chippewa County, Wisconsin.Circusandmagicfan (talk) 10:44, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Circusandmagicfan[reply]

Father[edit]

I've seen references to her father being a cattle dealer who was involved in "wild west" shows, but unfortunately this is only a third-hand report of the content of an article I've not been able to see directly. The sources I've been able to cite describe her father as a carnival magician. I guess it's possible that both these descriptions could be true if he was a bit of an all-rounder and if its reasonable that there's some crossover or similarities between wild west shows and carnivals.Circusandmagicfan (talk) 11:02, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Circusandmagicfan[reply]
