Merge discussion[edit]

It appears that two parallel articles were created; the merged title can be with/without "Tribal Council" but the issue is whether the organization itself uses "Dehcho" or "Deh Cho" - INAC uses the latter.. The INAC site also does not list the Metis locals as member groups, so citations for that will be needed; I have had no luck accessing http://www.dechofirstnations.org or whatever the linked item on Dehcho First Nations is, but that maybe is due to an intermittent WIFI connection on my end.Skookum1 (talk) 17:32, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't get that site to work either but this one does work as does the GNWT site. Both of those show it as being Dehcho and not two words, based on that I think this article should be the redirect to Dehcho First Nations. "Tribal Council" doesn't sound right as the individual members would each have a band council, though "Tribal Council" is used, such as Gwich'in Tribal Council. The Dehcho First Nations site also shows the membership. Odd though if you go to the member commmunities you can't find Fort Liard or Fort Liard Metis unless you scroll to the bottom of the page. OK, I was just checking that before saving and now going to the member communities I can't see Fort Liard or Fort Liard Metis at all but here are the direct links Fort Liard Metis and Fort Liard.
