I had understood that deep earthquakes did not have the depth range quoted here, but a much broader depth range, maybe 350km-700km(ish). I'll check out some textbooks for a clearer definition, but wanted to ask where the original numbers came from. Inner Earth 12:48, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
