Page history[edit]

The original article by this name was deleted as a copy and paste, presumably from the charity's own site.

The charity's old name Defeating Deafness was proposed for deletion, but the charity probably is notable enough to have an article, so I moved the stub here and expanded it a little. - Fayenatic (talk) 13:08, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Leading charity?[edit]

This site http://tincan.co.uk/?lid=1056 says DR(UK) is the UK's only national medical research charity for hearing-impaired people, but they are probably "talking up" their client.

Specsavers Hearcare says "Deafness Research UK is the medical charity for deaf and hard of hearing people" but this is a page that mainly promotes Specsavers' partnership with DR(UK) in a travelling exhibition.

Are there any independent sources that indicate a leading role in a particular field? - Fayenatic (talk) 13:08, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
