Poem in cast section?[edit]

Hi, what's up with the poem in the cast section? It's in the wrong section (if it belongs), then it's translated to Spanish? (wouldn't that belong in another "region" of Wikipedia?) and the boxes are messed up. I assume it's been noticed by others, but perhaps would it be possible to add the poem as a section of this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 135.245.8.33 (talk) 17:14, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tongue?[edit]

She is also capable of talking herself, which is ironic as her tongue was cut out when the townspeople killed her.
Was her tongue actually cut out in the movie? I don't actually recall him saying that line in the movie. Alot of things from the preview weren't in the film. Jack Of Hearts | Miss A Turn 01:26, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jamie's father tells him this when he explains the circumstances of her murder. 130.101.31.30 03:37, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cornelius name[edit]

how come the clowns name is cornelius because in the credits its clown —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.166.254.137 (talk) 20:10, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plot[edit]

I haven't seen the movie so I don't know how to fix it, but the plot section is very confusing. Is Billy the Saw puppet? It says it is in the opening paragraph of the plot, but then later it says that Billy is in someone else's possession but there is a sidenote that says Billy from Saw is propped up against a beam. So which is it? It'd be helpful if someone that actually saw the film could fix this and make it clear. Phydend 14:49, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Billy from the "Dead Silence" and Billy from the "Saw" series are two entirely different puppets . -- My.life.is.muzik... (talk) 03:39, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The one from Saw is subtly shown in one angle. Billy from Dead Silence is different, with shaped-up hair and green eyes. The one from Saw has unkempt hair and red eyes. Billy from Dead Silence is pictured on the DVD cover and promotional poster (shown in the article). -BlueCaper (talk) 00:13, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Link to Dead Silence II[edit]

Original Storyboard[edit]

I have an original storyboard to the movie. It was created when it was being called Silence, and the storyboard ends before Jamie destroys Billy. -BlueCaper (talk) 12:15, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple versions of poem[edit]

The film version:
Beware the stare of Mary Shaw
She had no children, only dolls
and if you see her in your dreams
be sure you never, ever scream

Deleted beginning/ending goes on:
If (ever) you see her, if (ever) she finds you
remember this
There's only thing that can save you
Silence

The version used in the trailer and advertisements:
Beware the stare of Mary Shaw
She had no children, only dolls
and if you see her, do not scream
or she'll rip your tongue out at the seam (scene?)

I took out the reference to the poem because it was neither of these variations, it was a cross between them. If someone is to add it back in, use the actual film version. Kiwisoup (talk) 08:12, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Leigh Whannell's blog[edit]

Screenwriter Leigh Whannell talks about the film in this post on his blog [1]. It could be useful for anyone who wishes to improve the article. Count de Ville (talk) 01:19, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you kindly for this—it is a great piece of writing and I have used it to create a new section.--Soulparadox (talk) 08:48, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
