The history section could use some work. It would be interesting to include a discussion of the "suburbanization" of D'ville in the 60s and 70s. Also, it would be interesting to include a discussion of anything of note that might have happened in D'ville during the Civil War. Bond Head 00:25, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of "Notable people who live in Davidsonville"[edit]

There's only one person listed, a motocross competitor. The section is also a recurring victim of egotistical vandalism likely because of this emptiness. Is the section necessary as it is, or are there additional important figures that should be noted? Comrade Tiki (talk) 02:20, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I guess I don't see much value in such a section, and can't really think of any reasons to separate people living there now versus people who have lived there in the past. Wikipedia:Handling_trivia is sort of relevant here. The question is whether this tells us anything about Davidsonville or gives a fuller picture of Davidsonville or anything like that, and I'm not really seeing it, unless there is something more than a list of names. (I mean John Waters would surely be relevant to Baltimore but that is a whole different sort of thing). Kingdon (talk) 04:47, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As the person who added the section, I guess I don't have any problem with removing it. I added it because I came across the reference to the motocross guy who apparently is pretty famous in that world. I was hoping others would add to the list, but I guess there's nobody else notable living in D'ville. Bond Head (talk) 02:47, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've gone ahead and removed it. Kingdon (talk) 13:40, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Updating Census data[edit]

68.33.65.182, I see you updated the median income figure using 2010 Census data. Can you provide a specific source? I didn't think detailed data by Zip Code was available yet. Bond Head (talk) 02:53, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
