Untitled[edit]

I'm sure David is a nice guy, but this article needs to be toned down and edited for relevance. It reads more like an advertisement for David IMHO Brianmcgee17 21:41, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, actually. Can I submit some proposed changes here?

Absolutely. Another thing to think about is helping increase the amount of source material available - if there are specific facts that you might want included, but that aren't necessarily available somewhere, you could post them, say, on your personal website, and that way they could be included in the article with an appropriate citation, without their being original research. —Krellis 03:07, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Copyvio Material[edit]

I just noticed that virtually the entire page was cribbed from David's bio on OpenDNS.com, so I removed all of the material that wasn't properly re-written, and added that page to the References. The article needs a lot of love, and as much as David's a cool guy, I'm starting to question notability. Anyone have thoughts? —Krellis 05:23, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I thought it was borderline too, but he's been featured in several interviews, and openDNS is a somewhat widely recognized contribution. I don't want the final word here, but I think he meets the notability guidelines. Brianmcgee17 00:06, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
