The article entry contains the following statement:
"In his absence, he served as the first president of Walden College in McPherson, Kansas. In 1907 he returned to Sweden and the following year he took up residence in Minneapolis where he edited the early Covenant periodical Veckoblad. He also established the department of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Washington and served as professor from 1910 until 1912."
This is problematic because according to the 1912 Kansas: Cyclopedia of State History Walden College in McPherson, Kansas, was not founded until 1908, a year after Nyvall reportedly returned to Sweden. How could Nyvall have been president of a college that did not yet exist? StudierMalMarburg 14:05, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There's no problem after all. I've looked in other sources. Walden College did exist prior to 1908, it just had no buildings prior to that date. It taught classes in the McPherson Opera House, so Nyvall was president during the time period mentioned in the article.
