Accuracy[edit]

He may have done this, he might have done that, he was possibly involved with these? seriously? is this speculation-a-pedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.241.128.13 (talk) 18:30, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clean-Up[edit]

There are many errors in tense and punctuation throughout this article, perhaps even a few misspellings. It needs to be tended to.

Does anyone else see the humor in an article with a "cleanup" notice, about a man known for his poor hygiene? Count Zero 05:32, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Las Vegas, New Mexico[edit]

Las Vegas, New Mexico is nowhere near Dodge City, Kansas. They are more than 350 miles apart. Almost a 7 hour drive by Interstate and US Highway. A week to two weeks by horse back. So I edited that statement to say "the town of" rather than the "nearby town of."Perry Hotter (talk) 12:38, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Arrested by Wyatt Earp?[edit]

When was Rudabaugh ever captured by Wyatt Earp? He was arrested by Masterson and Garrett, but I haven't found a record of him ever being captured by Earp. Earp was chasing him while in Fort Griffin, Texas. Rudabaugh may or may not have been part of the assasination of Morgan Earp and may or may not have been present at the death of Curly Bill Brocius. But when was Rudabaugh ever actually captured by Wyatt Earp? Perry Hotter (talk) 14:00, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, it's been a month, so I'm editing the statement by eliminating the name of Wyatt Earp. Perry Hotter (talk) 01:02, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I edited the sentence by putting Wyatt back in and included Dave Mather, but rather than say he was arrested by Wyatt, etc., I said he crossed paths with all four. Perry Hotter (talk) 20:21, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gunfight at Iron Springs[edit]

I made a couple changes here. First, the source that was given to substantiate the claim that Rudabaugh was actually involved in the gunfight at Iron Springs lead to information on J.J. Webb instead of Rudabaugh. I replaced that source with one that claimed that he may have been involved. Second, I removed the Iron Springs statement in the Other Information section because that information was already given in a previous section. Perry Hotter (talk) 12:05, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted picture[edit]

Why was the picture deleted? I see in the View History section that someone asked if it had been authenticated. Was it deleted because it had not been authenticated, or was there a copyright problem? Perry Hotter (talk) 23:45, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There are no authenticated photographs of Dave Rudabaugh. Shootseven
