The Sgt. Pepper story and the Fifth Beatle story[edit]

I have removed the quote about Dave Hull influencing the naming of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Hull may very well have told that account to people. However, the creation of that album is well-documented in many historical accounts about the Beatles. Paul McCartney's own account of the creation of Sgt. Pepper, which was conceived and produced in the UK, had nothing to do with Dave Hull or any American. It certainly had nothing to do with the Texas-based Dr. Pepper soft drink.

I've also removed the unsourced claim that Hull was known as The fifth Beatle. Fifth Beatle is a sourced list of many who are considered a "fifth Beatle". Dave Hull is not on the list. The only American DJ on that list is Murray the K, who had promoted and traveled with the Beatles, and gave himself that nickname. The others are individuals who were mostly associated with either the Beatles management team, or as musical accompanists in producing the music. — Maile (talk) 04:00, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
