Why does this page focus only on the "political career" of somebody who has never been elected to office?

I am from Jersey, and it is odd that this page continues to present itself as a biography of a "politician" - yet Mr Pearce has never been elected to political office in Jersey or elsewhere. The Parish Roads Committee is a minor municipal administrative body, to which Mr Pearce was briefly elected uncontested, and members are not voted for by the general public. If anything, Mr Pearce is notable in Jersey for two matters: his continual failed electoral campaigns for the role of Senator, Deputy and Constable (approx 11 at last count) and his history of run-ins with the law. It strikes me that this page presents a very skewed view of his public persona and may well exist just to promote his local reputation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.112.147.14 (talk) 08:12, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

Yes, arguably he is now much more famous for other reasons! (Fdsdh1 (talk) 12:57, 1 May 2021 (UTC))
