This redirect should not be deleted[edit]

Assuming Bueller 007 was entirely correct in his December 6th edit of Tenryū-ji, and accepting that his pithy comment was justified -- that "Danrin-ji link is self-referencing, and Danrin-ji itself is probably not worthy of an article" ....

Nevertheless, it does make sense to me that there should be a redirect link within the Wikipedia context. If someone begins a search for Danrin-ji -- knowing nothing except the name itself, what purpose is served by an unhelpful blank wall? Wikipedia's system would then invite the user to create a new article for a future Bueller 007 edit with a casually dismissive shrug.

In my view, this redirect should not be deleted without an expanded explanation; but I'd be interested in learning other points-of-view. --Ooperhoofd (talk) 15:13, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
