bag[edit]

under bag it says dense clusters of 1/24th notes, but those don't exists. They are clusters of 8 note triplets or it is a compound time. How should we say this?

There are 1/24 note blocks in bag due to the tempo (65 bpm). However, only the notes are at 65: the song is at 195. A similar situation is DROP OUT -- the music is at 130 and the steps are at 260. Therefore, the 1/24 notes are actually 1/8 notes, just 3x slower. (This is why I play bag with the 3x mod.) 71.226.81.123 19:26, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question About BPM Change[edit]

can someone please tell me the bpm in Burning The Floor (Momo Mix), in the first 10 seconds of the song where the bpm speeds up at the hold?

Requested move[edit]

Dance Dance Revolution EXTREMEDance Dance Revolution Extreme — Per WP:MOS-T, sure it's written everywhere as EXTREME, but it says to "Follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules even if the trademark owner considers nonstandard formatting "official". I'm also wanting to have titles for the individual mixes changed to this as well, like having the title for 5th mix be Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix instead of having 5thMix or something like that. —ViperSnake151 02:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's naming conventions.
  • Since the naming conventions apply here, a move seems in order. --Iamunknown 02:22, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Opposed, The naming convention of DDR games is more complex than this. If we went strictly by Wikipedia's naming convention we'd have an article titled DDR Max: Dance Dance Revolution 6th Mix, and that's the way wrong way to spell the title of that game. Pointing out EXTREME is easy but most of them are intricate and would require further discussion, and if only the simple ones are changed then we have an uneven set of articles. It would make them look bad and unprofessional. For this I stand by the cardinal Wiki rule "Break every rule if it stands in the way of improving the articles", and am squarely opposed to this suggestion. This debate should prolly be mirrored on the WikiProject Video Game discussion page, to gauge how those familiar and unfamiliar with the series feel. --AeronPrometheus (talk) 02:48, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

Any additional comments:
  • This was a non-controversial move since WP:MOSTM is quite clear on this, so I went ahead and moved it. TJ Spyke 12:53, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • Also, this was never listed at WP:RM, so the only way anyone could have seen this poll was to specifically come to this talk page. TJ Spyke 12:56, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing article with song list[edit]

User User:AeronPeryton:AeronPeryton keeps making this edit in which he replaces all the content in the article save for the lead, with a nonsensically structured article that has a section for each of the two hundred songs in the game, each only containing the text "This is a song by X person". Please stop making this edit. While you may be right that the article isn't perfect, lacks sources and whatnot, what you're proposing is plainly ridiculous. Should you continue to do it, I will report you for vandalism. --uKER (talk) 18:02, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Extra Stage[edit]

I just removed some part of the Extra Stage part because it talked about the CS version of DDR Extreme. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.54.110.71 (talk) 16:24, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
