Exactly the same pose and bedding as Cleopatra[edit]
It sure looks to me like this *Danae* and the artist's *Cleopatra* depict exactly the same woman. The only differences are "on top" -- Cleopatra has an asp, Danae has that grain or something falling (maybe it's supposed to be a shower of gold). But the lines of the woman and of the pillows behind her are *exactly* the same.
