Fiction?[edit]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lineage_(Buddhism)#Chod_lineage

what is actually said here? "Padampa Sangye, was not karmically blessed with an aesthetic corporeal form, and upon finding the very handsome and healthy empty body of Kamalashila, which he perceived as a newly dead fresh corpse, transferred his mindstream into Kamalashila's body. Padampa Sangye's mindstream in Kamalashila's body continued the ascent to the Himalaya and thereby transmitted the Chöd. The mindstream of Kamalashila upon endeavouring to return to his kuten was unable to do so and resorted by necessity to the vacant body of Padampa Sangye.[4] The mindstream of Padampa Sangye continued in this body, and it is in this body that the transmission of Chod was made to Machig Labdrön.[5]"

Does it say that the mindstream of Padampa Sangye in the (handsome) body of Kamalashila made the transmission of Chod to Machig Labdrön?

meaning of Khampa yogi

  • Reading this [11] -"Drüpthob Tashi, a Khampa yogi (Tib. ngakpa)"- one thinks that Khampa yogi in Tibetan language means ngakpa.

But maybe Khampa yogi means yogi from Kham. Kawa Kapo, Meili Shan.:Austerlitz -- 88.75.217.143 (talk) 14:44, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
